The conference brought together professors, doctors, experts, heads of hospital pharmacy departments and pharmacists from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and other provinces across Vietnam to exchange and update professional knowledge in hospital and clinical pharmacy.
The scientific programme covered key topics including clinical pharmacy, drug information and counselling, drug interactions, prescription and medication-use monitoring, adverse drug reaction (ADR) monitoring and reporting, therapeutic drug monitoring, medicine supply, continuing education in hospital pharmacy, pharmacy information technology, hospital pharmacy quality management, community pharmacy, scientific research activities and current pharmaceutical legislation.
